Autodesk 3ds Max 2019 Now supports Open Shading Language


Autodesk has released 3ds Max 2019, the next update to its 3D modeling and animation software program, including a new procedural Advanced Wood map and a Shape Booleans device for combining spline shapes.

The update also provides help for Open Shading Language, a Shared Views system for receiving feedback on 3D fashions online, and new VR editing functionality within the bundled 3ds Max Interactive sport engine.

3ds Max now supports Open Shading Language has been implemented via the OSL Map, an execution environment for OSL shaders inside Max. you can create shaders maps from simple math nodes all the way to full procedurally created textures.
