Creating Soft Body Dynamic Strings in Cinema 4D Tutorial by eyedesyn Topics going to cover in this tutorial Introduction to the Soft Body Dynamics ‘Made of Clones’ option and How to use a Tracer Object to create spline dynamic type simulations
Creating Soft Body Dynamic Strings
Soft Body Dynamic are essentially used for deformable items including balls, fabric (don’t neglect about the use of the Cloth feature for material/garments), thin metallic, and so on.
Splines also can be used as Soft Bodies. However, they are better suited for simple items. They don’t work well with Connectors and could best be used in a limited style as a rope, for instance. However, a Spline can be used in conjunction with collision to make it fall onto and lie on any other item.
